Michelle Thomas, M.Ed. – Co-Founder
Education Coordinator/ Language Arts & Social Sciences
Michelle has a Master’s Degree in Special Education and a BA in Science Education. She also has specialized training for teaching reading, writing and math from the Hill Center in North Carolina, using a research driven method proven to be effective for students with AD/HD, Dyslexia and other learning disabilities. She has over 11 years of experience developing individualized curriculum and teaching reading, writing and math to students with learning differences.
Sean Thomas – Co-Founder
Math & Natural Science Lead
Sean has a BA in Math with a minor in Art from SUNY Geneseo. He has been teaching these subject areas to all grade levels for over 8 years. He has also worked with a wide range of ability levels and learning disabilities as well as students with social-emotional disorders.
Kelly Paulson
Fine Arts & Assistant Teacher
Kelly is a graduate of the University of West Florida, where she studied Business and Fine Art. Her professional career includes art instruction, tutoring and consulting. Kelly’s passion for the Arts has provided her opportunities in Laguna Beach and La Jolla, CA. Most recently Kelly was serving as the Art Program Director for The Gallery at Windsor in Vero Beach, FL. Kelly has been involved in bringing art education to her community through volunteering and non-profit.
Jenny Garcia, M.A., CPT, RYT
Physical Education & Health Teacher
Jenny has a Master’s in Sports and Exercise Psychology, a BA in Human Performance Management along with a minor in Nutrition, and holds certificates as both an ACE Personal Trainer and a Yoga Teacher. She has been working in the field of physical education since 2004.
Corinne Keston-Smith
Administrative Assistant
Corinne currently attends CU majoring in Neuroscience and Anthropology. She has a passion for graphic design and has practical experience in creating multimedia presentations. She has worked with children for several years as a Nanny.
